Math Week 2014

The aim of the Math Week is to show students a different perspective about Math and lat students realize that Math is everywhere or related to everything. Activities were carried out during the week were:



For Primary only from Grades 6 – 8

Students draw anything using numbers only during the art classes.

Table Tennis Tournament

“Table Tennis” watch the champion of the champions in Paradise High School! The school organized a competition among students last 9th week of the first Term, from Grade-6 to  Grade12, Watson Koi, grade 7 student ended as the 3rd placer, while Alfred Warren a grade-11 student bagged 2nd placer, and a grade 8 student Neil Pup bring home the bacon! 

Volleyball Tournament

Paradise high School “Intra School Volleyball Competition” organized by the Physical Education Department  last 4th and 5th week of the First term school year 2014, Grade-10A bagged the championship in secondary level while the Grade 8 for primary level.
The said competition was very tough for all the teams for each team comprises of a male and female team members, the said combination brings difficulty in playing the game however it was a big opportunity that all teams enjoy the warm feeling of camaraderie.

Chess Tournament

The Chess tournament was a success after a week of competition with the top three winners awarded with chess boards by the school as their prize. It was organized by the IT teacher.
The students were given a week to practice using the computers in the IT lab and the chess boards in the science lab. Round robin matches played after school at the recreation area.
The students were very eager and excited to see their fellow classmates participate in the tournament with winners advancing to the semis and to the finals.

10th Turkish Language Olympiad

Language is an important factor for people to be able to understand each other and become friends. Nowadays, for people of different cultures to be able to understand each other through the communication of culture together with friendship, language is of great global importance.

Paradise Panorama

Paradise High School intends to keep in touch with its graduates. Therefore, we organize REUNION DAY every year. Eight students from 2011 batch participated in the Reunion Day 2012 which took place on July 1st; Fallon, Hairai, Jephta, Faustina, Fisher, Clive, Phyllicia, and Emmanuel. After having lunch at school, we went to the Paradise Movie Theater to watch “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter” in 3D which was quite exciting. After the movie, we ate pop corn and returned to the school.

Essay Competition

The school was invited to participate in the essay competition organized by the Australian High Commission as part of its celebrations of the Australia Week this year.

Paradise Students Won Bronze Medal

Two of Paradise students from grade ten won Bronze Medal in INFOMATRIX 2012 (International Computer Project Olympiad). The Olympiad final was held in May at capital of Romania, Bucharest. In Olympiad there were more than 100 projects in 6 categories from 35 different countries.

Statistics Competition

Statistics Contest was organized by the Social Science Department. The overall aim was to teach students to investigate issues, collect data and      present their findings.There were 9 topics given and students can provide their own topic of interest too. There were 16 groups that took part, Grade 6—2 groups, Grade 7—1 group, Grade 9-9 groups and Grade 10-3 groups.They were judged    on their compilation of a booklet and powerpoint presentations.
