It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Paradise Academy, a community committed to developing young people who are academically capable, confident, responsible, and prepared to make a positive contribution to Papua New Guinea and the wider world. Since our establishment, Paradise has grown with a clear purpose: to provide quality education while developing the knowledge, character, values, and skills that students need for their future. Our strong academic results in the Papua New Guinea National Examinations are a reflection of the dedication of our students, teachers, parents, and the entire school community. However, we believe that education is about much more than examination results. Our responsibility is to prepare students for a rapidly changing world where technology, artificial intelligence, global communication, and new professions are transforming the way we live and work. We therefore continuously seek new approaches to teaching and learning, while maintaining strong foundations in knowledge, discipline, respect, critical thinking, creativity, and personal responsibility. At Paradise Academy, we believe that every student has potential. Our role as educators is to recognise that potential, challenge students to grow, and provide the support and opportunities they need to succeed. We want our students to become independent thinkers who are not afraid to ask questions, solve problems, take responsibility, and learn from both success and failure.
